By 1956 it had diverse businesses from cheese to glass packaging and in 1980s it collaborated with different companies to make batteries, plastic containers/products and home appliances along with cheese and as a matter of fact this company invented the pasteurized processed cheese which did not need refrigeration. Later it dissected its non-food business (except the batteries one) and sold it to a different firm. In 1999 its very famous brand of batteries was sold to a private equity firm and was later bought by another very famous men’s accessories brand but that is not the main question is (although if you can tell the names of these battery and men’s accessories firm along with the name of the MNC which finally owns them it would be bonus), the question is by which name this firm which has got Warren Buffet to invest 8% in it, is known today? To make it simpler (although I know you guys will crack it right away) this firm was in news for a hostile takeover (of another very delicious MNC!!) recently.
